WAZA FLO FALL TO MUSTANGS, 7-2

CHICAGO, IL - In one of arena soccer's greatest rivalries, the Waza Flo found themselves on the losing end of the scoreboard on Saturday night. It was a tale of two halves as the Flo were able to keep Chicago at bay heading into halftime tied at one goal a piece before the Mustangs turned up the heat and cruised to a 7-2 victory.

The teams traded goals in the first two quarters as Chicago's Niver Arango opened the scoring in the first and Waza newcomer, Ludvick Asigo, notched his first goal for the green and gold in the second to level things at halftime.

The Flo struck first in the second half as another rookie, Michael Palushaj, tallied the first goal of his Waza career less than a minute into the second half to give the visitors their first lead of the season. From there, the Mustangs regained control of the match netting the final six goals of the game to cruise to a 7-2 win. Second half goals were scored by Arango (2), Paris Martins, Ryan Ybarra, Alejandro Lopez, Alexis Camarena, and Patricio Barroche.

The Flo now head into the holiday break still looking for their first win of the season. They'll try again on December 29th as they welcome the same Chicago Mustangs into the brand-new DCFC Fieldhouse in their 2019 home opener.
